VX shift light wiring?

How's the shift light wiring on the VX done? Looking to hook it up on the CRX, but don't know where to get started.

:)

I believe there is a module on the back of the instrument cluster that plugs in and provides a shift light. A buddy of mine installed a shift light into his hf crx and i'll get some exact details on what was done.

Hmm, I was assuming there was some sort of ecu output for it...

I think you assume correct. I would assume its just an output that you can place a bulb inline with and run the other side to ground. If you don't get an answer here, a shop manual for the VX should tell you what wire it is off the ECU and possibly what voltage output it is. I do have access to one at work, so if I remember tomorrow, I'll look it up.

I'm planning on just using one of the spare light on my integra cluster (like abs), so I just need to find the correct wire...

Bump in case anyone knows offhand. I have an idea, but that's it.
