When EcoModding, Must Lose Weight!!
2.5 oz $100+ Coach Leather Wallet
-->> 0.1 oz Free Tyvek Wallet
= 2.4 oz Weight Savings ^o^
= ~+0.0008 MPG gain! ^o^ ^o^

---

Following the 'idea' of another light wallet, simply cut a piece of tyvek envelope apart (2 layers). You can use the sealed edge of the bottom of the original envelope as one sealed edge of the wallet.

You'll cut it twice as high as the final wallet (2x the height of a bill plus a little more so it doesn't stick out). About 5.5" tall (2 layers), then folded in half to 2.75" tall (four layers).

The width will be wide enough to hold the bills and credit cards on the left and right when folded. About 7 3/4" wide.

---

The 'bottom' of the original envelope with the sealed bottom edge will become the 'Top' of the credit card section when the cut piece is folded in half. ('bottom' folded up meets 'top' of cut piece)

Cut out slots through just 1 layer of tyvek to form the left and right credit card slots. Just a triangle area left and right is all that's needed.

Sew together left and right edges. Now, you have the 'front' - credit cards, middle section - cash, rear section - coupons, receipts.

I thought you were talking about spending money on mods, making your wallet empty and lightweight. :p
