I doubt that 270,000 subscribers can fund these shenanigans. He does flip cars, but $1,000 a week wouldn't cover anything with his mortgage.

I don't watch his channel, but maybe having a shop is part of his long game, not necessarily youtube related either, but trying to capitalize on it as much as possible.
