Way to track Average Engine Load?
I have an ultragauge, and it doesn't seem to be an option.
While miles traveled, fuel used, average MPG, and average MPH are available for trip/short trip monitoring, average engine load would provide very valuable insight that's currently absent. Is this something that SC2 tracks or is it simply not available on the market at this time? |
I don't think the scangauge does but torque does!
Torque actually lets you log everything at once including gps data. |
I would love to monitor short trip and tank averages for:
Throttle position RPM % Engine load Could I accomplish this with Torque? Thankfully, average MPH is available at least. |
Yeah it lets you log everything it can pick up from your car. It has a bunch of features a $20 phone or a $40 tablet will work fine. The app is $5. The Bluetooth elm device is $5-$15. I had problems with it resetting after I hit my kill switch and bought a scangauge and had the same problem. I changed the kill switch method and it works fine. Torque works good just requires some tweaking and customizing its not as much plug and play like the scangauge or ultragauge. It has bugs and its not perfect. Iv already had a android phone so I only spent $10 to get it setup.

On my tablet I have instant mpg a trip mpg a another trip mpg with a reset button trip avg speed. Throttle position sensor engine coolant temp. Intake air temp, and a small map that is useful for upcoming intersections.
