Well, the Fit just had its third birthday.
It's a remarkably reliable and consistent little car.
Year 1: 24,132.5 miles @ 44.4 mpg. Stock. Year 2: 24,284.4 miles @ 45.5 mpg Added lower grille block. Year 3: 24,371.5 miles @ 42.9 mpg Lots of high speed driving. Great mpg numbers, a nice, tight group- especially when you look at the number of miles they're spread over. But a variation of only a couple hundred miles driven over the course of 73,000 miles and three years? That's pathetic. |
Very nice! I'd love to have a worst tank of ~35 MPG.

Nice going, and happy birthday to the Fit. I've yet to drive a current gen one.
I'd be VERY happy to be getting those numbers -- lately I've been driving my friends' 2003 Suzuki Aerio 5MT FWD while looking after their place on the east coast, and it sucks! 34 mpg US last tank, gently driven. |
The Fit's doing really well, it just had its state inspection. I asked the tech what the front pads measured and he just shrugged- they had so much meat left on them that he didn't bother to measure them, even to let me know that I'd want to think about replacing them soon.
At just over 75,000 miles. :D |
Don't know if driving 25K miles a year is worth celebrating?
At 30mph average that's 33 24hr days a year behind the wheel  |
