What to do for 1999 Honda CRV?
 

Hey guys, I'm about to start driving, and I'm going to be driving a 1999 Honda CRV. What would be the best/easiest mods to do to increase FE? Right now, I'm shying away from those insane boat tails, and things that need a lot of mechanical experience. Suggestions?

Cover the basics as far as tune up, oil change, tire pressures, and then look at the efficiency mods and hypermiling techniques. If you don't need the space of a CR-V, consider getting a Civic.

Eh... what hypermiling techniques can I use? Things like the pulse and glide, will it work with an automatic? The only thing I can think of is drive slow, not accelerate quick, and no brakes. And is going into neutral at stoplights good? I've heard people say there's more wear on the car...
