What have you fit in the back of your Metro? (Bike?)

Can any other Metro owners chip in?

I have had my mountain bike inside. I think it's a 17.5 inch frame (could be mistaken). Both wheels (26 in.) off.

I also moved to the east coast for 4 months this past winter and brought everything I needed inside the car (minus the rear seat, which I left behind). Car was stuffed to the roof, with a "hole" down the top of the pile for rear view vision.

I rode a bike to buy mine, and it went inside just fine. With a quick release front wheel, a bike will go into most cars. My classic touring bike fits a dodge dart trunk, ferinstance.

Mine is the 4 door so putting the bike in is much easier than the 2 door (I think). I do remove both wheels and everything goes in nice and easy with road bike (I haven't tried the Mtn bike yet) . I can leave the rear wheel on and fit it in my Accord (much more room).
I'm assuming he is looking for 2 dr?

Two GMA sized pallets inside, and a third on the roof. No, the hatch didn't close :)

I had a Chevy Sprint, with the back seat folded down it was no problem to load up at least two bicycles. I currently have the 4 door sedan Suzuki Swift, and without putting the back seat down we managed to once shoehorn a Huffy AND a 26 inch roadbike into the trunk... Front tires may have come off, this was 8 years ago.

Bike fits fine in the back of my saturn. Usually I just take off the front wheel. Some larger bikes I take off the seat too.

Here's with the rear wheel still on, the front seat is almost all the way forward. Not passenger friendly, but do-able (if the passenger doesn't mind knees against the dashboard).
