Isreal to build charging stations

Just found this article. Wouldn't this be great here in N. America.

Because the correct website doesn't load...oh wait there it is.

+1 for Israel.
Yeah it would take ten decades to do that here. Ah the benefits of being Israel . I just love countries like Israel that is somehow pro-democratic yet militaristic enough to do that kind of stuff. Hope it pays off as a good choice in the long run. But with such a small country it would benefit more from the short ranged EV, it'll be close call if they can power them with solar power. I wonder how much land they'll have to cover with solar panel to do all this?

The good thing is that if Israel accomplishes this then it could get other nations saying "Ah.... so that's how we can do it." or some such.

If it really does go through, that will be HUGE.

It could have a giant effect on other countries.

It's the sort of thing where people in the US say, nah, it can't be done.

Just have one country do something along those lines and show them all!

Battery swapping stations!

Wouldn't it be great if all electric cars have interchangeable batteries? You could go on a long road trip because you'd just stop at a town every 50 miles to do a 'battery exchange' much the same as they do with propane tanks for BBQs!

Ingenious.
