What to look for?

Hey guys If I am to buy a car what are the most important specifications that I will have to look for?

Stubby79 02-09-2018 10:13 AM

You need to come up with a short list of priorities. Price? Cargo space? Safety? Speed? Handling? Fuel economy?

Its different for everybody. Can't tell you what you should look for if you don't know what you want out of a vehicle.

Minimum 1000hp

...at the wheels.

What are your priorities? There is no one-size-fits-all approach while looking for a car. First of all, what size class are you considering?

I would say reliability is #1 on the list.

I'd consider reliability in pair with the total cost of ownership.

total cost of ownership, relative to needed passenger and cargo space.

Rather slow but reliable boring crapox than a sportster that breaks all the time.

That's a good point.

Reliability, a low total cost of ownership, and a loading ability that meets the actual requirements of the buyer. Basically it covers most of the important aspects. Well, from my s***hole country perspective, I would include insurance in the TCO.
