What is needed to sell a wrecked car?
As some of you know I got into an accident last month, and I'm trying to sell my car, does anyone know what exactly needs to be done? It's not in bad condition whatsoever, my dad, little brother and I spent 2 hours rebending most of the wrecked parts and the truck closes and locks now. Do I have to get it inspected before selling it? Does anyone know what has to be done (I live in Cali if that makes any difference).

Not sure, but I suspect there is nothing you need to do to sell it (no inspection, etc) ... It will be up to the buyer to get it road-worthy again.
Was the vehicle reported to the DMV as a "total loss" by the insurance company? If so, then obviously you'll have to state that in the advertisement and the new owner will need to go through the inspection process once the vehicle is repaired: see https://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/brochures/howto/htvr13.htm |

You might want to state the damage on a sales document that you and the buyer both sign. Just to make sure that the buyer cannot come back with "you never told me" later.
