need little help with installation

Hi from denmark

Now i havent acually got the MPGuino just yet. Made donation today, but i like to be prepared. I am excited about getting it, and hope it will workout.

My car is a alfa romeo 155 2.0 TS 8v.
Inline-four engine/straight 4.. fires 1+4 and 2+3 at same time...

Would had liked to ask about hooking up the vss signal, have diagram and all, but i cant post picture or link without 5 posts :-/.

So for now, i want to ask about the method of finding the right injector lead.

Unplug all injector plugs.
turn key(but not start ofcourse)
with a multimeter, put one lead on ground/chassi. and with the other measure each lead in each injector plug, until i find one that reads 0 volt?, and tap into that?.

Oh never mind. Got it installed and mounted neatly into the dash . responds to the injectors, and speed is almost dialed in.. just need to do a couple of fillups now. Very neat little device.

I got another question tho. I ofcourse set it to metric mode. But in the settings it still says gallons, etc. should i convert my numbers to this?.

yah, it is still "english" in the settings, I didn't want to convolute the known setup values table

MPGuino - EcoModder

but calibration is really in terms of percentage change, despite the labels. if the guino says 20 liters and you added 30 from the pump then you multiply the fuel calibration (usPerGallon) by 20/30

weight is yet to be used by the guino. It would be useful for a cda calculation though. Don't forget to post your setup values here, or in the wiki would be better.
