Wheel Skirt Material

I'm trying to decide what to make my rear wheel skirts out of. I live in the Midwest and get lots of rain and snow and hot and cold weather. I've looked at cardboard covered in some kind of weather resistant material, I've looked at aluminum sheet (most promising so far) and I've looked at Plastic sheeting but I can't find pieces large enough (would probably work the best) any suggestions?

Oh and I also want to make some kind of a Kam-back/boat tail any suggestions on what to use for that?

Thanks in advance!

Plastic like coroplast will probably be best for cost, weight and durability. You can either buy it or find it in a sign shop. Regular cardboard can still be used for testing/temp purposes though. Aluminum sheeting should also work well.

I believe there are a few boattail topics and materials I've seen range from lexan, fiberglass, coroplast, aluminum... bascially whatever is readily available and shapeable.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to find a local shop and see what I can get.
