White car with a full boat tail, someone from here?
 

My dad saw a white car with a full boat tail + rear skirts in the midland to gladwin area today. He didn't get to see the front of the car, but his comments were that it was funny looking and cheaply put together. He works on cars for a living and had no clue what model/brand it was :D. He said it had "51 MPG" on the side of it.

Of what I could see, direct behind the end of the boat tail looked like a square and the sides angle in pretty fast and the top part of the tail is clear plastic like the aerocivic.

Either way, very interesting to know there is another person in the area trying to get better mileage :).

Has anyone else seen another Ecomodder in your area that you didn't already know about?

Sounds like Basjoos, although I thought he was further south and east than MI. Maybe he's traveling?

My dad has a tiny cell phone pic of it, and it isn't the aero civic. There was no front wheel skirts either. Basjoo's car isn't square on the back either (Aerocivic - aerodynamic mods for maximum fuel economy - aerocivic.com back). This one appeared to have a flat end to the boat tail in a square shape. Also, I'm pretty sure the aero civic would have a higher MPG figure on the side than 51mpg (his fuel log is 60s-70s)

I wish he had a closer photo and/or a side view.

Could it be Weather Spotter, from Midland MI?

It wasn't me, I'm based out of upstate SC and have never been to MI.

Piwoslaw....Amazing, I think that is the car! I'll show the photo to my dad, he should be able to confirm it.

100% confirmed, that is who he saw... some how I knew they were from ecomodder :).
