White Lightning Got New Shoes
Well I had to bite the bullet early and put new shoes on my focus.
I went with the Continental TrueContacts in a P195/65r15, they weigh roughly the same as what I took off, and they are .8 inches taller, so we will see over time if I made the right decision, they are rated the highest on tirerack of the brands tested and have a good rating on deep snow, ice and winter, while having a very good rating on the rest. These tires are rated for 90K miles and have a treadwear rating of 800, and they look great with how I have my hubcaps setup. Pictures soon |

Let us know how you like them and what kind of FE gains you see by going taller.

I've had these tires for ~4 months now. Great traction, quieter than the OEM Yokohamas, and much higher treadwear rating.
