Why do you visit Ecomodder
 

This was asked deep in another thread and I wondered what the majority of visitors reasons are. I think there will be too many answers for a poll but if I see a trend I might add one.


So why do YOU visit Ecomodder.com?

For me:

1) knowledge
2) best place on the net to post/track mileage
3) request help
4) entertainment!!!

I first came here when I got my first Geo Metro and was intrigued by the fuel mileage. I keep coming back because it's a good community.

1) advice on mpg (stumbled into this site when I first started looking for mpg tips)
2) advice on tech stuff (nothing better than talking to guys who already did it or fixed it on the same kind of car)
3) mpg tracking info (awesome idea)
4) friendly competition pushes you to improve (nothing like seeing someone get 65mpg to say, hey I can get at least 50)

1) Kind of helped test the new site when it first came up
2) Post my mpg
3) Learn things about my VX
4) Help others to learn about DIY stuff
5) Share my DIY stuff and further the knowledgement of mankind!

1.my lifes contrast brought me here.
2. no one takes an old sube seriously
3. the stigma of little car, japanese, and me
4. I didn't need to do a damn thing to a 3 main boxer
5. I giggle at the aerodynamics section :D
6. No electronics stuff yet to mention for the car, I get ideas.

And also:

2) for the inspiration & motivation for my own projects
3) for the education: I'm continually amazed at the depth of knowledge & skill of the membership

Because
1. it's a lot of fun to see how others are getting dramatically better fuel economy.
2. it's a great place to keep up with my gas mileage.
3. I want to learn something, and I try not to be too narrow minded to flatter someone else by imitation aka: steal their ideas and try them myself :-)
