I found out at a particularly bad time for me that a friend died last week and I can hardly find any information, like exactly what happened, when the funeral will be, etc. There will be a fundraiser at her old job, but they do not even have signs up. I stopped by after work and the silly girl said that if the family thought it was important, they would have taken care of it.

Obviously she never lost an immediate family member.

I keep trying to focus on work, then think of somewhere else I can look on-line.

Why are you sorry for the joke? The point of this thread still hasn't been explained. You shouldn't feel bad when someone starts a thread wanting something, but they don't explain what they want in the first place, then you make a joke, and they try to make you feel bad after the fact. Just saying.

My supervisor refused to do her job. I finally did everything I felt was reasonable to get her to help me, CCing the boss, not trying to get her in trouble, just needing her to do her job so I could do mine. When that did not work, my boss got me a new supervisor (who is amazing!), and the old one no longer works for the company.

I am not sure how many times I posted about ex\girlfriends. At the time it was extremely important to me. I wish I could search and destroy them, though. They do not serve any purpose now.

I think most of my stories involve exes and driving Army trucks. If I had a story involving both I would definitely tell that one the most.
