Wish me luck!

At 3pm I begin heading down to Rutgers for the first cycling weekend of the ECCC...it'll be my first (3) races, so I'm a bit nervous, :)

I'm sure you'll be updated if anything interesting happens.

trebuchet03 02-29-2008 12:37 PM

Good Luck :)

Don't puke... unless you have to :p

MetroMPG 02-29-2008 12:53 PM

Wow. And So It Begins. Good luck!

I second the sage puking advice.

MetroMPG 02-29-2008 12:59 PM

Do I have to program a new garage module for you to track your race results? :P

Daox 02-29-2008 01:07 PM

Lol the puking advice is great. Other than that... I got nothing.

Good luck!

Gone4 02-29-2008 01:12 PM

Enjoy the race. I wish we had a team for the ECCC but my school seems to only do mountain bike style races, lots of downhill.

TomO 02-29-2008 03:54 PM

Lots of luck to ya, Ben!

Who 02-29-2008 03:56 PM

Don't bonk!

Do have fun!

igo 02-29-2008 04:14 PM

What type of a race? What is the distance?

Also, Have you had much time to get in shape. The winter in New Hampshire is not the best place to get any good training rides in.

edit: Good luck/have fun

Mike 02-29-2008 04:42 PM

Good luck Ben!

XFi 02-29-2008 04:45 PM

Good Luck, give it your best...enjoy! :)

There's an ITT tomorrow morning (4 miles) and then a crit in the afternoon (20 minutes), then a circuit of some length on Sunday.

Not too much time to get in shape, but dive on in, eh?

Gone4 03-03-2008 09:34 AM

So how did the racing go? :)

zjrog 03-03-2008 10:27 AM

How'd you do?

elhigh 03-03-2008 11:35 AM

So - do you track your MPHS (Miles per Ham Sandwich?)

Seriously, I'd ride a lot more if I were closer to work and the other drivers didn't want me to die die die because I'm taking up so much of their road.

MetroMPG 03-03-2008 03:57 PM

Not a peep from the guy since Saturday. I hope he didn't bonk TOO hard.

Gone4 03-03-2008 10:38 PM

He's alive since he was asking me to keep an eye out for certain wheels for his bike. Maybe he forgot about us, though :P

SVOboy 03-03-2008 11:20 PM

I'll say something at some point, I'm still short on energy...:)

Ksyrium SL, anyone have?

AndrewJ 03-03-2008 11:45 PM

nah, the only thing on CL here is a Shimano Saint wheelset. So, no dice for you unless your roadbike has thru-axles and an axle-mounted rear der.

DifferentPointofView 03-03-2008 11:48 PM

Puke all ya want, as long as it makes you feel better :D

You might make the competition refrain from getting passed you if your creating an oil slick of sorts :p
