Wish me luck

About to embark on a trip to Raleigh, NC to pick up an SRT-4 for my buddy. 1300 mile round trip. Were taking the shadow, the car we paid $200 for a year and a half ago. I wanted to take the capri but our womens had to shove their way into our trip. Im nervous but whats the worst that can happen? Ill at least get some fuel logs out of it :P

That's a long ride, if you plan on staying somewhere in NC to rest your head that would be a good idea! Getting out of the car after being in it that long makes people land-sick from going 65-75 mph for so long.

I drove straight from NJ to laredo, TX and back 4 times which is 1,908 miles one way. Yes.. 36 hour drive straight. Alone, none the less so my advice for you is do the speed limit (out of state tickets suck.)

and.. don't forget women have to pee every 30 minutes so don't let them have any water unless they are really freaking out

Haha, I'd wish you luck but then it would seem like I think your car won't make it, so have a safe and pleasant trip instead!

Yea were gonna get a room in Winston-Salem, about 100 miles from our destination. Our idea is to get down there tonight and rest til midday tomorrow, the dealer guy said he has to go to church in the morning. In a very southern voice at that. Hopefully we will get back in time for me to get some sleep sunday night as I have a 12 hour shift to work on monday at 6am.

And yea, my girl just started her tomato drive... lol. She says it will be okay.

The car made it to WV once without a problem, about half the drive.

Yep, it won't be so bad with partners. I've done that alone straight, and it sucked. My advice is to let each driver go as far as possible before dying rather than swapping prematurely. :)
