WTB RIGHT NOW - '88 Festiva vacuum advance distributor working or DOA
 

My advance dashpot is cracked, and leaks vacuum through the diaphragm. I'd be willing to buy just the dashpot, or the complete distributor, but I can't find them anywhere for less than $200 REMFG and I don't want that because I'm not keeping this engine past Spring of next year as this car is the candidate for an off-road diesel buggy build.

In the mean time, i'd like to make it run (better) than it currently does, so I kinda need one of these if anyone has one or wouldn't mind checking a junkyard. I'd be willing to pay up to $100 for one in operable and good overall condition, I know you can find them in junkyards for far less than that and shipping is $15 via USPS so you stand to make a few bucks that way.

Do you know if all 1st generation Festiva years will interchange, or does it have to be from an '88?

'88/'89 I think. Its vacuum advance. 90+ are EFI, some '89 are. Doesn't make a deference now though, stopped driving the car in favor of my Camaro.
