Nice find! What's up with that rear wheel skirt? I guess maybe that is part of the "rear seat" addition mods? They widened the car in the rear?

Well, if they were really looking to improve they aero they should have put tiny pod mirrors on it like I have, rather than leaving the original stock Micky Mouse ears hanging out there in the wind!

Team FourSight FourSight and TwinSight - Progressive Automotive X Prize Entrant - Popular Mechanics

"The Mainstream-class FourSight was a two-door Honda Insight with two additional rear seats hollowed out from the interior, with a battery electric drivetrain driving the front wheels, and a 750-cc, three-cylinder diesel engine from a Smart car powering the rear wheels, making it four-wheel-drive."http://onlocation.consumerreports.org/xprize/team_foursight_foursight.html

"FourSight team leader Chris Atkinson, a mechanical engineering professor from West Virginia University, said the team came up a day late and “several dollars short.” A critical shortcoming, they lacked the money to buy an electric motor for their car."
