I haven't had a diesel to play with in a while, will have to get rid of the metro though :( But 4 doors is nice, probably handles better, and this opens up some bio options, and gets 47 without even trying http://forum.ecomodder.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Nice ride. How many miles? How much did you get it for? Is it stock?

Lot of miles (quarter million) so I will have to check it out thoroughly (start with brakes/bearings). Paid $3.5k (trade in value). Probably stock. Title was from VW finance so previous owner probably bought it new, and probably spent a lot of time on the hiway.

Hopefully it has the fuel consumption signal and I can rig up a mpguino (and a kill switch on the shifter). But no major plans beyond that, least until I learn more about it. It's a wee bit more complicated than my 82 diesel rabbit was :)
