Your Cost of Fuel per year?
How much do you guys spend on fuel per year?
Three vehicles and the total for me came out to $6500, 17,000 miles. $4.80-$5 a gallon |
$1300 for 6000 miles paying ~$7-9/gal.
|
We put 12k miles on the Prius last year, it cost us $767 with gas costing from $3-4.
|
14500 mls / 23400 km on 1437 euro or some 1900 USD of diesel
@ an official price of € 1,202 / L or 6,04 USD / gal on average in 2011. Today's prices are already up by 25% from this average. |
Around $730 in gasoline to drive my civic 10,000 miles (includes loaning it to other people) and $30 in electricity to charge the green wedge for 1,000 miles, it would have been more but I put it in storage over the winter and it was mid summer before I had a new speed controller in and working.

About $750 for 15000 miles in my Insight, and my wife about $1800 for the same distance in her Nissan Cube.
|
Civic: $350 for 7,900 miles.
Odyssey: $1450 for 10,500 miles. Gas around $3 - $3.5 for the year. |
5.4 -
I seem to be driving under 17000 miles per year these days. In that time ... Code:
Cost: In 4 years 2 months $6,366 => $1,527 per year CarloSW2 |
In 2011, my wife and I drove our car 12,527 miles for $1,835.11. Works out to $3.52 per gallon.
|
I drove approx 19,100 miles last year. At approx 29mpg, at $3.75/gal, it cost me approx $2500.
Hard for me to estimate as in the past year I had 5 different vehicles. 2 that take premium, 3 that do not. I'm down to 2 now and hope to keep it that way for a while. Yes, I know I have a problem. I wish fuelly could combine stats across vehicles. I want to know what my average cost per mile, mpg, etc. is across all vehicles I own. |
About $1000 for about 15000 miles early-feb to early-feb. I expect it might be about the same or less this year, depending on gas prices.
|
About $1000 for me. My math came up in the 900's for my average fuel use, but I picked "$1000-2000" since I occasionally take unplanned trips.
|
approx 500 miles on the Mustang at <=18mpg
approx 2000 miles most likely less on the Jeep at <15mpg maybe 5000 each on the truck and car at >20. We had a lot of trips for family events half way accross the country this year. We might have broken $2000 last year. |
~$2460 for ~21,000 miles and ~593 gallons of fuel (diesel & gasoline)... that gives (with some rounding):
- 12 cents / mile - 35 mpg - $4.18 / gallon (diesel and premium is pricey!) This is across 3 cars; one diesel at ~50mpg (73% of total miles), one regular gasoline at ~27mpg (9% of total miles), and one premium gasoline at ~21mpg (18% of total miles) |
Fuel cost was 14-cpm at 8,781-miles
|
Cost last year was $742 for 188gal. and 5113miles. Cost the year before was $732 for 224.5gal. and 6100miles.
