I decided not to mess with the old head, as the valve seat needs grinding and the adjustment requires shimming. I ordered a rebuilt head that comes with the cam shafts and valves all pre adjusted for $275 plus $20 shipping.

In for a dime, in for a dollar? Do I order new high compression 94 pistons rings and rod bearings? Will I find a Toyota engineering surprise when I try to disassemble the oil pan? OR should I just put the head back on.
