I can hold off year round, even in 85+ degree weather. I just take my shirt off. Having cold water ready makes this a lot easier. The weak point is actually my dashcam which requires air to be blasted at it periodically or it may overheat and start looping the audio and randomly corrupting files. Now, when it does get that hot I will turn on the A/C during deceleration because its "free", but that does complicate fuel cut deceleration. With the A/C on, the fuel cut stops at 1200 RPM, A/C off and it stops at 950 RPM. I also open the windows at lower speeds in these temperatures, but that really doesn't hurt as much as the A/C.

I'll try putting some reflective material over the dashcam at some point to keep direct sunlight off it.
