Yes, I have not had a fill since Nov. of last year. Got laid off, and the car has not been used much, I go out, clean off the snow (160" so far this winter) and start it once or twice a week and let it warm up. I have driven it into town a few times, but with the really cold weather in Jan. (9th coldest Jan. on record) and all of the idle time, MPG's have really taken a hit. Anybody need a computer guy in Northen MI? |

Last fill was a short one obviously! Dang unlevel gas station drives! Will try to only use 1 station from now on. Village Market in Rapid City, pump #5 seems best. Filled there this time, and it seems to give me the most in the tank. I ordered my MPGuino kit and can't wait for it to get here. Colder weather is here too , and I may try to do a WAI. Wonder if there is a block heater for the Zetec 2.0L? |

Getting very close to 45mpg!. The weather has been cooler, and I am thinking that my grill block has been causing the cooling fan to run too much and hurt my FE. Quite a noticable difference in this tank. Low fuel light did not come on until 408 miles! Usually has been coming on between 370 - 380 miles. Lots of EOC. Some P&G. |

Filled at different station. Probably skewed my readings. I did get my stealth kill switch installed and working, however, I am going to change it from killing the ignition to killing the injectors. The unburnt fuel in the cylinders is noticable on restart and gave me a SES light, probably from the O2 sensor. It is a stealth kill switch, because I use the button on the end of the e-brake lever to actuate a switch in the center console. I will post pics later. |

Grill block really makes a difference on the EOC hills I do back and forth to work! The last 2 fills previous were screwed up and this one was a good fill. Only problem is I went through the automatic car wash and it blew off my temp grill block (cardboard and black duct tape). Got to find some black corplast and then I want to do wheel covers and rear skirts. |

My first 400 mile tank! This is the first tank after increasing air pressure in tires to 10% over max. Now at 38psi. I can probably call this 40mpg because the first 80 miles were still at the lower tire pressure. Now for a grill block. 45mpg - here I come! |

Consistant numbers for this technique. Will add some hypermiling techniques. No mods yet. Technique only. Need to learn to finesse the vehicle to increase my FE without a SG II. (Not in my budget).
