Fill date Distance Fill amount Price MPG Details
2009-11-11 280.3 mi. 10.5 US gal $3.75 26.7 US Wet / cold weather and more Bowen driving. Patchy use of block heater. The winter MPG blahs have started. Still, way above last year's winter's 22mpg
2009-11-04 438 mi. 15.58 US gal $3.86 28.11 US More Bowen driving on this tank. Possibly winter gas.
2009-10-20 567.7 mi. 18.78 US gal $3.6 30.23 US Record tank and combined mileage on this tank. 818km/508mi. Most of this, I believe, is due to the TCC lock switch. I am able to climb hills in a much higher gear and be locked up in OD at 3Omph.
2009-10-07 64.7 mi. 1.838 US gal $3.7 35.2 US Highway/city tip. Abbotsford to North Van via Lougheed. Rush hour traffic in Vancouver.
2009-10-07 371.7 mi. 14.29 US gal $3.7 26.01 US Full tank with TCC lock. Trying to EOC more. Back to 12V for 2/3 tank. This is a new record for a mixed tank. This used to be my highway mileage. Includes an 85km trip with a full load of wood. Fully synthetic 5-20
2009-09-25 340 mi. 14.26 US gal $3.73 23.84 US Lots of odd things happening on this tank. Test driving, etc. mostly on Bowen. First full tank with the TCC lock switch. Several trips without block heater. Front tires at low pressure to reduce pothole shock while repaving happens.
2009-09-10 75.44 mi. 2.18 US gal 34.61 US #1 Highway from Abbotsford to Bowen. TCC in full operation.
A little city driving in here.
2009-09-09 174.6 mi. 7.1 US gal 24.59 US Bowen and city. City half with TCC lock. 1/2 of Bowen roads are gravel right now because of impending repaving so I ran 35 psi., 10 lower than normal on Bowen. Both rear brakes have been converted to manual adjust.
2009-09-02 57.22 mi. 1.59 US gal 35.99 US All highway/city from Abbotsford Via Lougheed highway to West Van Petro-can. Getting great coast downs and 17inches
+ vac @80Kph. Also timed lights and traffic very well.
2009-09-02 266 mi. 11.15 US gal 23.86 US More Bowen driving than usual with 3 days of spousal driving in the middle.
2009-08-19 58.35 mi. 1.98 US gal $4 29.47 US Highway run from Silverdale to West Van Chevron, Hot day so upper grille block is off. No idle and some coasting. Just discovered left rear drum brake dragging. Next tank should show some improvement.

2009-08-12 297 mi. 12.36 US gal $3.85 24.03 US
2009-08-12 42.9 mi. 1.48 US gal $3.85 28.99 US Highway run. Something is up because I used to get above 30 for these.
2009-07-29 400.2 mi. 16.37 US gal $3.85 24.45 US One quarter of this tank was with the new roof and side extensions and some use of A/C. The balance was the regular Bowen/hwy mix. Coast down is definitely longer. About 1/2 block heater use.
2009-07-15 63.4 mi. 1.9 US gal 33.37 US 1/2 Highway 1/2 city combined from Abbotsford to west van. Highway at 70 mph average. No P&G. steady throttle. Stuck in traffic for 20 minutes. 59 ton-mpg

2009-07-01 321 mi. 13.02 US gal 24.65 US This tank was the usual mix of 3/5 Bowen and 2/5 city/hwy. I was driving with a light pedal and not as much P&G. I wanted to compare these two techniques. Interestingly there is not much difference.
2009-06-17 456.7 mi. 18.75 US gal $3.21 24.36 US This tank was mostly Bowen with two town trips. I was P&G and EOC all over Bowen and town including pulsing up hills and accelerating at 75% ish throttle at most opportunities. I had the voltage up at 14-14.5 for 90% of this tank. New mini spoiler installed. One windshield wiper removed. Not using block heater, bad ecomodder!
2009-06-03 307.5 mi. 13.12 US gal $4.02 23.44 US Most of this tank is with the new brake caliper, Mpguino is on the fritz so no help there. Front air dam and grille block were removed during the winter.

2008-10-10 208.2 mi. 9.27 US gal $4.82 22.46 US Just installed a block heater but only used it twice so it won't show up. Mostly bowen driving so this tank is pretty good.

2008-09-25 392 mi. 16.93 US gal $5.2 23.15 US This was mostly Hilly Bowen short trips with a couple town trips. Found timing retarded 5 degrees, fixed to stock will increase for next tank

2008-09-04 14.47 mi. 0.72 US gal $5.94 20.1 US City driving only. I'm wondering why my city and highway mpg are so different.
2008-09-04 56.36 mi. 1.76 US gal $5.94 32.02 US Mission to Vancouver. Harris road to highway. Normal trip, just moving with traffic. some on backroads @55mph some at @65mph.

2008-08-27 52.3 mi. 2.18 US gal $5.99 23.99 US This is an attempt to get a highway only run with new oxy sensor and salt flat discs. Turns out about 10 miles was city. 30mpg here I come!
