2008-07-30 639 mi. 12.8 US gal 49.92 US Stopped doing EOC.
2008-07-22 593.9 mi. 11 US gal 53.99 US Did a lot of testing on virtual boattail without hypermiling. Probably could have done better.
2008-07-15 562 mi. 11.1 US gal 50.63 US
2008-06-26 571 mi. 11.8 US gal 48.39 US Finally getting weather in the 80's. Found slightly better routes. Doing more EOC.
2008-06-16 519.9 mi. 12.2 US gal 42.61 US Returned to my old route. It's much shorter and uses less gas, even though the MPG is lower. Dang.
2008-05-31 522 mi. 11.8 US gal 44.24 US Wife and daughter drove the car for 3 days.
2008-05-18 442.1 mi. 10.64 US gal 41.55 US Let my wife drive the car for a few days.
2008-05-10 391.3 mi. 8.6 US gal 45.5 US Tried new route on this tank. Couldn't wait until it was empty to test it because I thought the Scanguage was wrong.
2008-05-05 470 mi. 10.8 US gal 43.52 US Summer gas is here. Daytime temps finally in the 60's. Found a route to and from work (45 mph) which is much better, even though there are 4 more stop lights. Put on a much better lower grill block (more flush and easier on the eyes). Removed spare and jack from the trunk at the end of this tank.
2008-04-25 470.5 mi. 11.7 US gal 40.21 US No lower grill block for most of this tank. I'm fabricating a new one.
2008-04-15 481.8 mi. 11.8 US gal 40.83 US Mixed driving. Daytime highs in the 50's. Received Scanguage half way through this tank. Started experimenting with lower grill block half way through the tank (2% improvement). Tried to combine trips more wisely. Increased tire pressure from 40 to 44 psi.
2008-04-07 435.5 mi. 11.47 US gal 37.97 US 50% city driving. Daytime highs are around 40-50 degrees, so I expect better mileage as the weather improves. No mods made yet. By law, all gas is mixed with 10% scam fuel (aka ethanol) where I live, so mileage is adversely affected. I'm using a few hypermiling techniques, but no drafting or P and G. I have no Scanguage yet.
