Driving in a lot of wind again. When will this damned weather stop? Was driving aggressive for about half a tank. Did redline a few times, perhaps 5 or so. Was in a racing mood. Also hauled about 300lbs of horse food. My poor tortured car lol.

Lot of wind. Sick of wind. Didn't redline more than twice. Was driving fairly aggressively. Tires normal, was a qt low on oil.

Mileage dropped, though I blame a pair of snow storms that each dropped 2 to 3 inches of snow. I thought it was supposed to be spring!!! That and 35+ MPH winds for about half of the tank. I was driving a bit more agressively this tank. Well, more than a bit. But hey, I've got a sports car, why not have some fun?!?

11.25 gallons to fill up to top of gas tank tube thing. Put in upper midgrade (89 octane instead of 87).

First tank on lower midgrade fuel from Maverick. Seemed that my MPG went up to 22.5 from my normal of 20-21 on premium. I filled with the same grade to hopefully duplicate results.

Every trip to town goes over the summit, at 60. Once in town keep RPM around 2k, shifting at 3k. Translates to 30 or 35mph. Did a couple heavy accelerations to keep engine clear and to whoop some mustang.
