The kMs for this tank were a large amount of Sydney KM (Freeway) - the fuel was from the Shell servo off the Freeway exit.
Had an issue with the crankshaft sensor - replaced at the empty tank mark, and now filled up.
Both Crankshaft and Camshaft sensors replaced.

Normal commuting for this tank.
Aside from the trips to that large hardware store and the wholesale chicken place, nothing stands out.
Work traffic was avoided most ?all? this tank.

More 98 RON, though there was some freeway driving too so that might make the figures artificially better than normal.

Higher kMs is due to a fuel up mid tank, but I added the 10L to fuel used.

The oil was changed to one which promises lower friction (and is 10W30 over 10W40 in Magnatec), 100kMs into this tank.

Hard to say if it's the freeway trips or the 98RON fuel giving better mileage. Needs some more monitoring.

The 594 kms are made of a lot of Highway kMs (around 200), with some lengths of slow traffic negating some of those highway benefits. The tank the kMs came from was 95 RON.

Now filled with 98 RON (1.56), so hopefully the tank starts to improve based on the higher octane fuel...
Also, this tank is 'better' because of the home trip - it's a few minutes earlier thus aiming to get into better flowing traffic (after 4pm - slow!).

Back to work, possibly traffic (it gets reallly slow if the timing is wrong).
Was also testing steady RPM driving on half this tank - difficult to see results.

The fuel for this lot of k's is hard to say what has improved.

"Jack Rabbit" Pulse & Glide used (definitely attempted wider opening of the throttle).
A long drive was done too - that could have been it (not so likely..)
The fuel was from another servo and just 'Premium Unleaded' - was cheaper, but.. what RON rating?

And at the end of the tank, we have 4 new tyres - not a likely effect to be seen just yet though.

- This is the tank after the battery was replaced (8 year old battery!).
- The fuel for this tank (which is what will be used by the next set of kms!), is from another servo though. Fuel prices for E10 are $1.45L, but PULP from "Metro" was 1.499/L. So filled with that, not sure if it's crap fuel though (let the K's decide).

529.5kM - could be slightly wrong though as the car last had around 480kM on the trip meter, then the battery lost power and the trip computer reset, 49.5 was on the trip computer at fill up, 480 being the last remembered number prior to the battery issue.
