Notes: Fiancee's car wouldn't do more then 55mph, so I loaned her mine while it's in the shop. So about half of the highway miles is her at 75mph+. She still managed 20.1MPG's on her way home. But sadly I won't see that until next tank.

Highway: est 80miles.

Notes:
Went to Des Moines the other day, so about 50miles extra highway for that on this tank. I went ahead and filled up while I was down there because gas was $0.12 cheaper per gallon.
2009-08-27 200.1 mi. 11.74 US gal $2.399 17.04 US Ok so the higher octane test was fouled by the fact that the college students came back before I filled up again. Trips that I normally got 17-20mpg's went as low as 13.5mpg's due to heavy traffic from people moving back in. So I guess I'll never know. Weather was warm for the most part except for evening temps once in a while dropped down to the low 60's. I think I did about 40-50miles highway to avoid the college traffic.
2009-08-17 138.3 mi. 7.808 US gal $2.569 17.71 US Ok, so I did a short tank this time because the Jeep was feeling really sluggish. I could never seem to get any power out of it. So another bottle of Iso-Heet and a little 91 octane (only cost $0.08 more) and will see if that helps it out a bit. Initially I noticed when I floored it I could really get it to move, unlike before where the GPH's would go way up and it would slowly accelerate.
Weather has been up and down from 70-90's. Only did about 15-20miles highway.
2009-08-08 314.5 mi. 16.47 US gal $2.549 19.1 US Did about 120miles highway down to van meeter. Other then that it's all in town. temps in the 70-80's with a fair amount of rain.
2009-07-17 266.7 mi. 14.85 US gal $2.219 17.96 US I think I did about 50-60 highway miles on this tank. weathers been between 70-90's with a fair amount of rain.
2009-07-04 258.8 mi. 14.9 US gal $2.389 17.37 US I'm going to guess this tank has about 40-50 highway miles. Don't know for sure because I've been riding the bike a lot lately. Weather has been rather warm in the 70's-80's.
2009-06-16 290.6 mi. 16.31 US gal $2.599 17.82 US Did about 40-50miles highway. Weather has been warm in the upper 70's and wet, raining almost every day.
2009-05-30 272.6 mi. 15.73 US gal $2.449 17.33 US Warmer (up to 80F) but wet weather lately. Did something in the range of the usual 40-50miles highway.
2009-05-13 236.1 mi. 13.97 US gal $2.199 16.9 US Had about 40-50miles highway this tank. Weathers been warm'ish and wet.
2009-05-01 176.3 mi. 11.34 US gal $1.919 15.55 US Looks like the last tank was a fluke. The SGII was reading 16.9MPG's. I was wondering if I hadn't gotten the tank full. Turns out I was right.
2009-04-21 247.1 mi. 13.84 US gal $1.949 17.85 US I'm going to guess I did somewhere in the range of 40-50 miles highway on this one. Weathers been a lot nicer then previous tanks, with temps up to the low 70's for a few days. On the other hand the winds have been brutal some days.
2009-04-08 238.7 mi. 14.9 US gal $1.899 16.02 US I'm going to guess somewhere in the range of 30-50highway on this tank. We've had some colder days but nothing below about 20F that I can remember.
2009-03-28 263.9 mi. 16.25 US gal $1.949 16.24 US The weather warmed up for about a week this tank. Saw a high of 72F. But also a low of 16F. I guess welcome to Iowa. I think I put about 30-40 highway on the tank.
2009-03-15 247.2 mi. 16.92 US gal $1.749 14.61 US Had some highway this tank. Not sure how much. Maybe 20-40miles at the most. Temps jumped up and down from 9F-70F.
2009-02-16 229.9 mi. 15.55 US gal $1.799 14.78 US Had a few days with temps dropping down close to zero. Didn't really do more then a couple of miles highway.
2009-02-04 249.8 mi. 17.99 US gal $1.849 13.89 US Had about 15-20miles of highway and temps dropping below zero.
2009-02-02 224.6 mi. 14.47 US gal $1.799 15.52 US Had about 10-20miles highway. A couple of days this tank the temps got up to the upper 40's which is probably why it's getting back up there MPG's wise.
2009-01-22 213.3 mi. 16.68 US gal $1.799 12.79 US Had about 15-20miles highway this tank. Weather was nasty with lows down to -20F. Had one trip that the starting engine temp was -8F. So I'd say not bad.
2009-01-11 245.3 mi. 17.41 US gal $1.749 14.09 US Had about 20-30 miles of highway on this tank.
2008-12-30 271.3 mi. 16.47 US gal $1.59 16.47 US Had about 120miles highway. Still cold but not as bad as before.
2008-12-23 192.2 mi. 13.61 US gal $1.649 14.12 US This tank had about 100miles of highway during a bad snow storm. Also saw temps drop well below zero. The lowest I saw with wind chill was -36F.
2008-12-17 221.2 mi. 16.47 US gal $1.699 13.43 US This tank was almost completely in town. Just a few miles across town on the highway. The temps were dropping down to the single digits.
2008-12-05 269.1 mi. 15.74 US gal $1.599 17.1 US Put on about 100miles highway up to the grand parents house this tank. Some reason now that it's cold the scan gauge is way off. read 16.0MPG for the tank(should have been 17.09). So I went ahead and re-calibrated it to make me feel better about the mileage(was seeing 9MPG on a few of my trips).
2008-11-26 200 mi. 13.53 US gal $1.699 14.78 US Had about 15-20 miles highway.
2008-11-15 263.5 mi. 16.91 US gal $1.899 15.58 US About 15miles of across town highway on this tank. I started to go out of my way to take the highway now that the temps have been dropping (lowest yet is 25F). I've found with the in town mileage dropping to as low as 12-14mpg's the highway makes for a decent savings. I've also found the Jeep stays warm longer because it fully warms up when I take it out on the highway.
2008-10-29 277.9 mi. 16.9 US gal $2.079 16.44 US This tank has the rest of the trip to Minn. So about the first 90miles or so are highway. Then all cold city driving. I also forgot to put in Iso-Heet which affected it as well. All I can say is ouch.
2008-10-18 398.3 mi. 16.96 US gal $2.499 23.48 US Headed up to Minn again. This tank had about 30miles of cold in town first(15.6MPG's was what the scan gauge read). So a little math later it looks like highway is sitting around 24.49MPG's. We had really dense fog on the way up(which made 55mph easy) and lost a few MPG's on the way back because of a good 10-20mph head wind. So in all considering it's probably winter blend gas as well, getting slightly higher then last time is not too bad.
2008-10-17 80.5 mi. 5.116 US gal $2.54 15.73 US Headed out of town this weekend so this is only a partial fill. Looks like the cold weather is already starting to poke it's gas hungry head out. Thank god for lower gas prices!
2008-10-12 278.8 mi. 17.32 US gal $2.749 16.1 US 100% city driving this tank. Ran it really low this time.
2008-09-14 452.1 mi. 18.67 US gal $3.49 24.22 US Went to a wedding in Minneapolis Minnesota this weekend. So this tank is almost completely highway. Only about 10miles of in town driving. Managed to go up and back on a single tank of gas (approx 440miles). Which according to EPA shouldn't be possible at 19MPG (only 380miles per tank). I was a little disappointed to see the final result because the scan gauge was reading closer to 26MPG's. But I still managed to achieve my goal of a round trip on a single tank.
2008-09-12 95.1 mi. 5.814 US gal $3.49 16.36 US Only a partial fill. I'm headed out of town tomorrow. Hoping I can make it to Minn and back on a single tank(Crossing Fingers). So it might be a little off.
2008-09-03 307.9 mi. 16.56 US gal $3.49 18.59 US Did about 150miles of highway this tank.
2008-08-19 233.7 mi. 14.08 US gal $3.47 16.6 US Only had about 5-10miles of highway driving on this tank.
2008-08-09 316.5 mi. 16.81 US gal $3.59 18.83 US Did about 120miles highway this tank. First full tank that I had the ScanGauge for.
2008-07-27 244.6 mi. 13.89 US gal $3.759 17.61 US Did about 40miles of highway on this tank.
2008-07-14 202.1 mi. 12.06 US gal $3.89 16.76 US Changed my driving technique this tank. I wanted to see how big a difference shifting in to neutral was making. Turns out I got better mileage with out it. Don't know if I focused more on other techniques or what happened. But I think for now I'm going to skip the N shifting and focus more on other techniques.

This whole tank was city driving
2008-06-29 250.5 mi. 13.53 US gal 18.51 US Had about 100miles of highway on this tank. I estimate I got somewhere between 22.84-27.32MPG highway. Most of the highway was at 55mph.
2008-06-22 190.1 mi. 9.496 US gal $3.79 20.02 US Finally got some highway driving in. Put about 120 miles on this tank. Should have filled up after the trip but didn't have time. Estimating using the previous in town mileage gives me some where between 22.91-24.46MPG highway.
2008-06-14 102.1 mi. 6.695 US gal 15.25 US Was headed out of town so I went ahead and filled up. I'm guessing it's a little off because of that. Hoping the next tank with counter act this one. Put about 120 highway miles on the next tank.
2008-06-07 195.5 mi. 11.89 US gal $3.89 16.44 US Five slot grill block used for most of this tank. Still about 95% in town driving. Got stuck in traffic at one point due to flooding.
2008-05-25 205 mi. 12.56 US gal 16.32 US About 95% in town driving. My highest mileage to date.
2008-05-04 196 mi. 13.09 US gal $3.42 14.97 US Don't get on the highway much. So this is probably 95% city. Just 1 or 2 miles out of town on Sundays.
