This tank was experimental. The first 100 miles was hurrying on the freeway, too distracted to hypermile because of chatting with a friend. There were more opportunities to drive the free way, so I did, and drove the speed limit, not hypermiling. I did EOC occasionally on my regular routes, but minimally. It was a test to see what I could get with minimal to no hypermiling and mostly freeway. Expensive test, but worth the data for me.
It's cool to see 2K RPMs at 70 MPH!

I did more EOC, and had better road conditions. But I also got going faster. Had issues with the refill fuel pump too. I had to manually hold it barely on, in order for it to keep filling.

I think I was too confident in how easy it was for me to get 52 MPG last time! I'm still very happy with 51!
