Road Trip (after all these 100% highway, 70 mph tanks, I'm realizing the difference between 38-ish mpg and 42-ish mpg is probably the presence of ethanol or some other stuff in the fuel) Bummer that 10% ethanol basically drops my FE by 10%, they could have just given me 10% less gas for what I paid! |

First tank with belt off (only 50% of the time though) Pump shut off at 10.3 gallons, but MPGuino read 11.65 used, (which is why I stopped shy of 500 mile club - tank is only supposed to hold 11.6 Gal)
I tried to add more to the tank, and at 10.6 gallons, fuel spilled out the filler neck. This fill made me suspicious that the MPGuino needs different calibrations for fuel usec/gallon when running at 12.5V rather than 14.5V. |
