I used this run to "dial in" my guino. I knew it would be a best-ever tank, simply because I had never driven around and pushed the gas pedal so lightly.

This proves to me more than ever the importance of throttle control, and the fact that the oem cruise control hurts my mpg's in most cases (all that include aero / hills).
looks like the next mod will have to be the hand throttle - I like donkeycrx's setup, but I also like the simplicity of hillbilly's.... decisions decisions.

at the second half of the tank, I said what the hell and startend cruising faster than my usual 70mph and found out that i can lean burn at 80mph!!! (that's about 3200rpm's at 80), so my mileage did drop a little, but still damn impressive! |
