Weather has been getting colder. Highs in the 70's and lows at night in the 40's - 50's. So I've had to let it warm up for a couple of seconds before I can take off. I'm guessing that's the main reason it's dropped just a bit. |

Tried a little engine off coasting this tank. Gotta be careful at night because the lights dim really bad after about 15-20secs. But it looks like it paid off because I beat my 40MPG's goal.

Highest tank to date. I think I finally got the carbs cleaned out so I've been running lower idle RPMs(about 1100) as opposed to when it was having problems(about 1400). Also seems to do better at lower RPMs when cruising at 35mph so I started running a higher gear. Went from about 4500rpm at 35mph down to 3500rpm. Seems to have made a big difference. |
