Hey Nevyn, I was there but didn't happen to cross paths with you!
I brought my EV there last minute, but it is shown in one of your pictures (VW rabbit convertible in tangerine pearlcoat next to comuta-car).
I was hanging around Adam Brunette's DIY controller display for a while. Shame he couldn't get the 6kW PFC charger working but was a nice display all the same.
Thanks for posting the pictures! I took a slew of them and was preparing to upload them on a new thread but you saved me the trouble
I think installing the public EV charging station at the park was a great idea.
I live in the area and am sure to use it.
-Chris

Nevyn,
Hope you don't mind, but thought I'd add a few more-
Adam Brunette's 6kW charger
His version of Paul's Open Revolt Controller
EV charging station
And my Rabbit Convertible
Video of charging station ribbon cutting ceremony

Chris, I hope you told people that you made pretty much everything in the car, except you didn't dig up the iron ore for the car's body and frame! Nice pictures! The Lacey Wa alternative energy fair is coming next Saturday, so I'll be sure to take pictures of that too. It's poured down rained there every single time for the last 4 years I believe, so we'll see if we can go for 5.

Nice Pictures
Nevyn and Chris
Thanks for posting the pictures. I wish I could have made it. It was a toss up between having a full day to work on my car or burning a tank and a half of gas. We don't get that many nice days in Rochester so i took advantage of it.
Thanks again!
John

Chris - I did see your car, but didn't recognize it as you/yours - if I had, I would have tracked you down and said hello! I did take a bit and look at it - my thought was that it is one wicked sick sweet little ride!
Perhaps some time in the future we can get together...maybe?
Also, do you mind if I link to your video on my blog?

Haha, funny guy! If it was electronic, I made it for sure. But the germans did a pretty good job with the rest. Included a bit of restoration though since the car's interior came to me in box's along with all wiring haresses.
Don't they have a rain date for the fair or is that term pointless in rainy WA?

Nevyn,
Don't mind at all if you link to it.
And if you're going to be in the area, send me a pm so we can meet up.
