I watch every Nascar race and nearly every single race comes down to fuel economy. A couple races this year have ended with the leader running out of gas and the car behind finishing in first due to "saving gas" over the last laps. Kind of ironic since the cars on the track run 150-200 laps getting 5 mpg and then try just to get 6-7 mpg over the last few laps to limp home for the win.
