How do you get your Hypermiler signature bar?
I've only had my car for two gas tanks, but I'm already above 14.5% above EPA. I looked for information about the Hypermiler bar's requirements and when it gets posted, but alas, here I am with this thread.
How far above EPA must you be to meet Hypermiling requirements? How do you display your stat bar?

Welcome to ecomodder. Follow this link to set up the mileage signature.

For how much above you need to be above EPA for it to say hypermiler, I am not sure. One of the moderators may know.

Hello,
I'm pretty sure the threshold is 25% above the EPA Combined number.

Thanks for the help guys. One thing though -- at the bottom of my Edit Signature page is this:
"Allow HTML No"
I know my way around a message board pretty well, but I cannot find a place to edit the Signature Permissions.

Your code is slightly wrong. Replace the { with [ in my example:

IMO the better way to do it is to use the url code as I mentioned in the link wagonman posted.

Thanks a ton, got it. I was confusing it with an {A HREF=} code.

I have an issue with the Edit function in "Your Garage" - I entered city and highway EPA ratings (New EPA, or should I use old??) and tried to check off my instrumentation. The instrumentation bar never saves after I update it, in Firefox or Safari - always reads "none" even though I select "factory instrumentation" every time.
This isn't such a big issue, except for the fact that my .sig doesn't show % over EPA anymore! Any tricks? Daox?

Instrumentation doesn't effect your % above EPA in the sig. Edit a fuel log entry and see if your signature updates. It probably reset when you were entering in your EPA numbers. You should use the 2008+ EPA standards.

Thanks Daox. I tried editing some of the comments on my latest fuel log and saved them, but no update yet. Maybe it will happen when I do my next fuel log? I know it's vain, but it gives us all a goal to shoot for, improve our own mileage, and compare with others. Great motivator! I think one of the bits of genius of this forum is being able to compare, improve, and brag about mileage gains - it turns it into more of a game and makes hypermiling FUN! Thanks again for the great forum!
