Thanks- I'm pretty happy. The hard part will be mounting the LED in the dash in a way that looks good.

It is possible to accelerate as long as you are VERY light on the gas. Unless the road is flat and/or you are above 2000rpms (roughly) it's almost impossible to do this in 5th gear for any length of time. It's a bit easier to hold econ mode in 4th gear while accelerating- but you still need to be very light on the gas.

Okay- I got the final install done over the weekend. I'm working on a mini-DIY. I plan to post it on 8thcivic, I'll either provide a link here to it or re-post it here as well. I'm very happy and I really think it will help to achieve the best possible gas mileage.
