Michelin primacy any good?

I wanted a set of Michelin energy tires, my tire guy talked me into a Michelin Primacy MXV4- are these any good? I think I'm getting worded mileage on my 06 corolla se es 5 spd

Those are oem for a lot of vehicles, I think you could find better. Did you already buy?

New tires have higher rolling resistance than worn tires. I forget how many thousands of miles it takes for them to really "bed in" - 10,000?

Yes it's on already, I had a big gouge in he sidewall this morning I needed to replace one, the reads were weather cracked too.
