more aero hubcaps...

I just laid fiberglass over the OEM hubcap. It turned out a bit lumpy (you can see the shape of the old cap a bit), but I suppose I could fix that with some bondo or another coat of fiberglass. It only took me about 5min to do and was essentially free as I already had some fiberglass and epoxy in the garage. I suppose it would cost about $5 per hubcap if one was to purchase the material for this purpose. I painted it red for some "pop" and so my co-workers would notice and ask me about ecomodding. I plan to do the other three hubcaps this weekend when I have some time. I attached some pics, so hopefully they appear in the thread...

I like it! I think the "lumpiness" can be cool if it is shallow and symmetric.
