OBD1 instant mpg and load gauge needed?

I have been trying to sort out the choices for instrumentation for obd1 cars, specifically honda civics.

My choice had been a 96-2000 civic but am going to ask if there is a way to monitor instantaneous mpg and load, as that is what i feel is most important when i had my last civic, i really want to be able to use that again but knowing that i can't use a scangauge on an obd1 car i am unsure what my options really are.

Sadly i could not decipher nor do i have the attention span to read everything

Thank you for any help

Buy an MPGuino, or donate to open gauge to receive the thank you for donating gift of an MPGuino. The one in my 95 civic helps a great deal. It will not calculate load but will give you any break down of the information you can derive from knowing speed, and fuel usage including (especially?) instant MGP, trip MPG, and tank MPG. I think they are really keen.
