Picked up my Cobalt yesterday and I like it a lot. I think it is the last new 08 Cobalt LS with manual transmission and ABS. It was born in June of 2008 which means it does have the XFE package. According to the instant MPG readout I was getting about 40 on the highway. Unfortunately I live in a hilly rural area so I average upper 20's there.
After test driving the Hyundai Accent and the Toyota Yaris I am very pleased with the opportunity to purchase this cobalt. Not only does it have good gas mileage but very comfortable and even fun to drive. I look forward to learning from other Cobalt drivers here.
