Yesterday was my first time riding a NOLA street Trolley. It was pretty darn cool. All Turn of the century equipment, awesome operators, cross section of society onboard, and the 2 year old godchild thought it was super cool.
2 leavers 1 on left for Power (and I think Re-gen) and one on right Air Brake. The only gauge onboard is the Air pressure gauge.
I really thought that efficiency could be driven WAY up with an Amp meter, and some careful Hypermiling, but heck 50 + people on a Electric (overhead wires) Rail based transport system is pretty darn efficient to start with.
