...all of these aero-trailer discussions behind trucks, SUV's & RV's made me 'see' this interesting shape going the other direction.

Yeah, i recently saw a snowmobile trailer and wondered how much better it would pull if it had correct aero. Kind of silly that they make these "fast" shapes that actually drag you back.

One of the primary issues is the purpose of trailers, that is to load easily, carry a load, then unload easily and the rear of the trailer is where that is done.

What we need is a design that allows simple access for loading & unloading to the front and/or sides, one of the ideas I had was some hinge mechanism that would allow one to pivot the trailer sideways 90*(think jack knife) so the trailer could be loaded from the front.
