Tesla Turbines and water heaters.

I don't have any real knowledge on the Tesla Turbine, other than general operational theory...

Question:

Could someone use a Tesla Turbine to heat water?

Clarification:

Power the Tesla Turbine with water, which acts both as the energy source and a coolant for the Turbine. The exhaust water is (should be) hot. Could the setup be built to create enough friction to heat the water as it flows through, like an on-demand heater?
