Meet the Anal Probe: a 1992 Ford Probe 5-speed that is half art car, half aerodynamic modifications showcase. It's a student's winter beater on a mission: "EPA ratings for the car are 21/28 mpg. I'm shooting for 40 mpg with the aero mods and some conservative driving." In the end, he beats his goal handily... and celebrates by giving the car a new, completely different paint job ... and a full boat tail for even better MPG.

Streamlined Citroen ZX
CitroX describes his project: "This was actually the experimental part of my master thesis. I needed to analyse how drag effects a moving vehicle and how it's aerodynamics could be improved. Orginal car ABA testing did 31.36 mpg @ 56mph. Modified car same road same speed but warmer weather did 49 mpg. This mpg increase is very close to the one that was theoretically estimated."
