You might want to take a gander at Dr.Michael Seal's series of Viking cars he and his students did at Western Washington University.If you did nothing but completely rip-off his design,you'd end up with a very fast,stable,and fuel-efficient car ( 70-100 mpg if you'll stick with a girly-man poweplant).
