How to figure out fuel mileage
I guess this is mostly for Canadian members, but I just got a Chevy Aveo and I put my first tank of gas in it today. Next time I fill up I want to calculate the fuel mileage. In the past I've divided the liters by 4.54 to get gallons and multiplied my kms by .62 to get my miles then I divide the miles by gallons to get miles per gallon. I'm not sure if I have all the figures right for the conversion, or if I'm even doing it properly. How do other's do this? Obviously I could just use Liters/100kms, but I'm old fashion and that means nothing to me, I'd prefer MPG. I appreciate any help, Thanks
