Another big Ubuntu fan here. I've been on Ubuntu exclusively home and office since 6.02 installing the updates/upgrades as they come out. Now I'm on 9.4 as of 2 weeks ago. Haven't missed XP except for when I want a great FlightSim.

All of my home computers are dual boot and I've got my wife and kids up to speed and comfortable in both environments. As with any new tool they resisted and were frustrated until they got some time and became familiar with Ubuntu. They had the same learning curve when they learned windows though. They now switch OS's depending on what they want to do. My son loves Blender (3D modeling, animation, rendering).
