Hi all.

I'm just going to quickly introduce myself. My name's Dean and figured I'd join up. I have a 98 Civic GLi 1.6L. Haven't really done much at all to it, except for a new intake and extractors. Had it down to 5.1L per 100k on the highway, so 46MPG sitting at around 110kmh or 68MPH. In the city it's around 7.7L per 100k, so 30.5MPG. So both figures are better than the EPA rating. Oh and being in Australia a lot of the highway driving is with aircon So if I did without I'd imagine I'd be more efficient.

I'm planning on a long trip come June, at about 8000k's or nearly 5000 miles so I'll log book the whole thing for fuel consumption. If anyone has any tips on how I go about it, that would be awesome. Thanks!
